(LifeSiteNews) — A recently released police interrogation video shows a man who identifies as a “transgender woman” calmly confessing to murdering his parents, saying that he did so because his mother objected to so-called “sex reassignment surgery.” 

Collin Troy Bailey, 30, who uses the name “Mia,” killed his mother and father in 2024 in their Washington City, Utah, home after they didn’t agree to fund his “gender transition” surgery. 

“I don’t regret it. I hate them,” said Bailey in a video clip.  

Asked during the interrogation if he could go back and relive the event, Bailey blamed his parents for his actions and said that he didn’t think there would’ve been any way for his “narcissistic” parents to change their minds, “so no.”

“Their answer was on them. They had their chance,” declared Bailey. “I didn’t want to become the monster that they made me to be.” 

Bailey claimed his mom was trying to “sabotage” his efforts to undergo the radical surgery.  

“I had one thing going on, and she took that away from me. She can’t say sorry to save her life, apparently. And I gave her so many chances throughout my life,” said Bailey, according to a New York Post report.

“So much for family,” Bailey added. “I spent years trying to fix that broken-a– family. Eventually, I had to get out, either going to kill myself or kill.”

After killing his parents, Bailey also tried unsuccessfully to shoot his brother through a locked door. The brother managed to escape unharmed and fled to a neighbor’s home where he called police.

Bailey has been sentenced to two 25-year-to-life sentences that will run consecutively.

The appalling case is the latest in a series of murders by “transgender” individuals in recent years, including other cases of “transgender” males who have killed their own parents or other close relatives.
