(LifeSiteNews) — Let’s begin, as we always do, with the sign of the cross…
Dear friends, I have some very exciting news to share with you today.
We are launching a new apostolate, Sign of the Cross Media, which will be dedicated to defending the Catholic faith and bringing souls to Jesus Christ.
This new apostolate will work in partnership with LifeSiteNews, and I will be the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of both missions.
Together, as one family, we will be united in the fight for life, faith, family, and freedom.
As many of you know, the past few weeks have been difficult for our team.
Unjust actions were taken to remove me from my roles, because of differences of opinion regarding the editorial positions of LifeSiteNews.
It’s no secret that some people have been uncomfortable with my public stance in defense of the Church and my opposition to those who seek to undermine and destroy her, my coverage of Catholic prophecy, and my active defense and promotion of the Traditional Latin Mass.
I want to reaffirm to you all today that I am committed to taking the battle for the Church forward, and on a greater scale than ever before.
However, I have heard the voices of those who urge the necessity of a media presence which focuses on the life, family, and freedom issues.
I recognize that LifeSiteNews’ mission is to bring the truth about these issues to the whole world – not just Catholics, but to all people of good will – and that this is one of the essential missions of our time.
That’s why, under my leadership, LifeSiteNews will be renewing our focus on these core issues.
We will be exposing the truth about abortion, euthanasia, and gender ideology. We will be defending marriage and the family with renewed strength. We will be defending our authentic, God-given freedoms, against all who would try and take us from them.
Now, let me share more about Sign of the Cross Media.
We cannot step back while the Church is threatened.
God is our Father, He created our souls from nothing, He knit us together in our mothers’ wombs, He washed us in the waters of baptism, He brought us into His Church, and He sent Our Lady time and time again to warn sinful humanity of the need to repent.
In that Church we find salvation, not because of any merits of our own, but because He poured out His Precious Blood for us upon the Cross.
We owe everything to God and must always put Him first.
And it is only by putting God first, that we can do any good for our suffering brothers and sisters.
Where the Church goes, society follows.
Where the Church is present, life, love and justice prevail.
When the Church is forced back, violence, death and corruption take her place.
This is the lesson of human history.
We can’t defeat abortion, euthanasia, tyranny, or any other evil without God.
That’s why the events of the past few weeks have made me more determined than ever before to tell the truth about what is happening in the Church, to champion Tradition, and to wake up humanity to the need to heed the warnings heaven has showered upon us.
Catholic journalists have a responsibility to tell the truth. We need to report on things as they actually are, not as we wish them to be.
I understand that many people, after the terrible years of Pope Francis, wish to believe that the crisis is over. I understand that many people wish to believe the requests of Our Lady of Fatima are fulfilled and that we can take a break on the liturgy wars for the sake of peace and stability.
But the truth is, that the synodal revolution continues, and only truthful reporting, along with the prayer, fasting and action of Catholics, can stop it. Heaven has laid the solutions before us, and the battle lines are becoming more clear every day.
That’s why it is more necessary than ever to report on the ordeal the Church is undergoing, and to keep exposing the evil of false shepherds while rejoicing in and promoting those shepherds. And, as many people continue to lose the faith, we need more witness to the truth of Catholic doctrine, not less.
Sign of the Cross will do all this work, on a bigger scale than ever before.
We will expose corruption and heresy. We will defend true doctrine. And we will reach out to lost souls and share with them the love of Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother.
This plan – one team, two platforms – will allow us to fight a battle on two fronts. One against the enemies of God fighting against the Church, and the other against the enemies of God fighting against the natural order which He established.
My friends, God is the author of all things, He is the source of the natural order and the supernatural order, and we cannot give up the battle on either front.
I hope that this plan excites you as much as it excites me, as we go into battle again like never before, trusting that God will give us the victory.
And, with your support and prayers, I am confident that He will.
May God bless you!
