A Kenosha, Wisc. man has been charged with threats to assault, kidnap, or murder a US official over videos posted to TikTok in which the suspect, 38-year-old Andrew Stanton, threatened agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement as well as US Customs and Border Patrol, prosecutors said.

Stanton was arrested earlier in October and pleaded not guilty on Thursday, per ABC News.

Prosecutors said that on August 26, the Southwest Wisconsin Threat Analysis Center had received a tip from the Wisconsin Statewide Intelligence Center that there was an “individual appearing to be” Stanton making threats on TikTok aimed at “soliciting Israeli personal information.”

The text in the video reportedly said, “Do you have the known whereabouts of [Israel flag] IDF members in the IL/WI area? Feel free to dm me. We need verification that they are IN or served.”

While the account where the statements were posted was removed, prosecutors said they found additional accounts believed to also belong to Stanton that contained similar rhetoric.

One video, posted on August 29 to one of the accounts, stated, “We’re not getting through to them [politicians] with using our words. That’s never gonna happen. You have to use bullets.”

Another video featured text that read, “I imply the very TRUE statement that a violent state can only be stopped with violence in return” and “I think we should be OFFING federal agents.”

In another video, Stanton was heard saying, “When y’all’s bodies lay motionless on the ground, ICE patch facing up at the sky, we’re gonna loot your corpses. And I can’t wait to see those videos.”

In a video shared on September 10, Stanton was heard saying, “When there are mass shootings, they are successful. People die and people are terrorized. You can apply that to other people: federal agents.”

Authorities attempted to interview Stanton multiple times on September 5, but were “unable to reach him.” On September 11, a federal law enforcement officer sent a text message to Stanton saying that he was a CBP supervisor assigned to the FBI, indicating “he wished to speak to Stanton about posts he had been making.”

In response, Stanton allegedly sent a series of threatening messages to the officer. One message reportedly read, “Please die. It will help future generations.”

On October 4, Stanton posted a video threatening the officer that had texted him, prosecutors said. The video stated, “If they show up to your neighborhood, and I’m talking to you, Border Patrol Officer Joe, it’s time we start shooting you.”

Stanton allegedly said later in the video, “If ICE shows up to your neighborhood — I’m sorry, I’m just gonna say it. It’s time to start [expletive] shooting at them.”
