This has been a really encouraging start by Naomi Osaka.
Perhaps somewhat surprisingly, the four-time major winner has never gone beyond this stage at Wimbledon, with all her success at majors coming on hard courts.
But she’s looking at home on the grass of court two so far and delights the growing crowd here with a wonderful winner on her way to restoring her first-set advantage.
Osaka apologises to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova a few times as she doesn’t quite get her toss right at the first time of asking, but eventually she’s able to let out a huge shout of relief as she gets the job done under pressure.
