(LifeSiteNews) — Those involved in pro-life efforts often discover that once supporters of abortion learn the science behind abortion, they often oppose it. Some quickly change from being pro-abortion to vehemently against it and publicly pro-life.

Abortion supporters have promoted and even legalized killing by saying that abortion is simply a normal variation of a medical procedure. Obviously, such statements are false.

Now, it was recently reported that a priest who supports homosexuality and transgenderism met with the Pope. The priest claimed that Pope Leo XIV encouraged him to continue his “ministry,” which also supports homosexuality.

Similar to abortion, homosexuality has been wrongly labeled as a normal variation of human activity. The Catholic Church accurately describes homosexual inclinations as “objectively disordered.” While that is a moral statement, it is also supported by science.

Also similar to abortion, more people might oppose homosexuality and false marriage known as “homosexual marriage” if they were taught some science – specifically anatomy and physiology. The science of homosexuality, though, is difficult to both teach and learn due to its grotesqueness. Many people probably don’t want to talk about the science of any types of human sexuality, let alone homosexuality.

Additionally, it seems that many people in today’s society refuse to engage in a serious scientific conversation on homosexuality simply because they know they are wrong and don’t want to admit it. Again, this resembles the abortion debate; killing a human being in the womb is easily proven, many just don’t want to admit they are wrong.

For the sake of discussion and in attempt to maintain non-specificity, consider the following questions which one might get on an anatomy and physiology test:

1. True or False: Human smooth muscle found in the large intestine is necessarily and easily harmed by force, including repetitive force.
2. True or False: The need of a male prosthesis indicates a medical defect.

Obviously both statements are true. And such statements are not considered controversial – until they are accurately applied to homosexuality and so-called “homosexual marriage.”

It is a scientific fact that sodomy likely necessarily harms at minimum the “receptive” male, while heterosexual intercourse is normally healthy. Biological women have a strong and elastic receptive area for intercourse which is self-cleaning and has other scientific properties which provide for clean and normal intercourse. The reader can easily find such information online or in an anatomy and physiology textbook.

Sodomy, though, is necessarily dirty – literally. The reader can do their own research here as well; strangely enough, if a researcher uses the proper search terms, even Google’s AI is mostly honest about the inherent dirtiness and defectiveness of sodomy, although those words are not used. This is, again, in part because the intestines and surrounding areas are not made for intercourse; the intestines are fragile and easily damaged.

Another scientific fact that should not be necessary to explain but is provided here for discussion is that the feces that go through the intestines are often, if not always, literally dirty; they contain bacteria, parasites, and other disease-causing organisms, including viruses that easily cause infection resulting from the tears and damage from sodomy.

Hence, science opposes homosexuality and the lifelong commitment to homosexuality, which is known as “homosexual marriage.”

Now, one should be informed that many places with information will say things like, “both men and women engage in sodomy, therefore it is normal.”

That is obviously false reasoning; the fact that men and possibly some women engage in sodomy does not necessarily mean it is normal. Men and women engage in a lot of the same disordered activities which are still considered disordered regardless of whether both biological genders engage in them.

Secondly, and this should be emphasized, homosexual men who consider themselves women claim that they are heterosexual. A reference from a homosexual-supporting group that is not endorsed but has to be provided here states: “a person who transitions from male to female and is attracted solely to men would typically identify as a straight woman.” Those “transgenders” and apparently the other male involved who engage in sodomy then consider themselves heterosexual – which is false.

Thus, online references which say things like, “both men and women engage in sodomy” might be referring to “transgender women” which are actually males and therefore homosexual.

(It is difficult to determine, but the U.S. CDC provides statistics on sexually transmitted diseases and sometimes distinguishes between “men who have sex with men” and heterosexuals in those statistics.

For example, the CDC gives statistics on which groups are responsible for new HIV cases, and says that men who have sexual activity with males were responsible for 67 percent of new HIV cases in 2022 while those who reported heterosexual contact were responsible for 22 percent of new HIV cases. The estimated number of new HIV cases caused by homosexual men would likely be much higher if “transgenders” were required to report their actual sex in the previous information. All other sexually transmitted disease statistics based on heterosexuality or homosexuality might be false due to gender-confused people falsifying data.)

Now, with regard to marriage – are homosexuals and heterosexuals committing to an “equal” relationship? Obviously not. Male homosexuals (including “transgenders”) are committing to a lifetime of sodomy, which is necessarily harmful, while heterosexual intercourse is not.

Female “homosexual marriage” is different than the male version but can also be shown to be defective. Female “homosexual marriage” includes a commitment to engage in pseudo-intercourse activity between two women and a male prosthesis. Technically speaking, it seems that such activity is not “intercourse” because the act is completed by a male prosthesis and not the other female involved. The need of a male prosthesis for intercourse, as the science question above implies, indicates medical defect.

Hence, female homosexuality and/or female “homosexual marriage” is inherently defective, or, in the accurate words of the Most Holy Roman Catholic Church, “objectively disordered.”

Another point to emphasize that cannot be completely elaborated is the established scientific fact that both men and women experience paraphilias. Paraphilias are basically sexual attractions to abnormal things – many different kinds of things. It is thought that homosexuality is simply another paraphilia – a conditioned, learned, and habituated abnormal sexual attraction. Homosexually-inclined scientists simply began falsely teaching that homosexuality is normal approximately around 1970.

Many people, including those mentioned at the beginning of this article who wrongly support homosexuality, are often the types of people who want to be well-regarded after their death. If humanity makes it beyond the present evils, and if one wants to be remembered as normal, one will follow the Church’s teaching on homosexuality. If not following the Church, one should at least follow science, which clearly opposes homosexuality and “homosexual marriage.”
