Comedian and actor Rob Schneider took the stage at the Turning Point Student Action Summit 2025 in Florida on Sunday, delivering a fiery and joke-laced speech touching on politics and freedom, and calling for a ban on farmland ownership by Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates.

“At least the truth is finally coming out,” Schneider said. “I don’t know if you heard but apparently Biden’s brain didn’t work. He wasn’t really in charge, what a shock. I don’t know.”

Schneider, a longtime critic of government overreach and mainstream narratives, also referenced health transparency and praised independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for exposing suppressed information.

“We’re learning stuff thanks to Robert Kennedy, we’re learning things. Things that have been hidden from us for so long—like Froot Loops is not good for us,” he joked. “Neither is Coca-Cola. But the good news is, if you’re going to be fat, be fat in America.”

Speaking on the importance of America, Schneider told the crowd: “America is God’s blueprint for humanity to live in prosperity and liberty. Because America recognizes the dignity of the individual and that he is made in God’s image, and has inalienable rights.”

“So let’s agree that it’s okay to disagree. That no opinions, no ideas,no challenges should be off the table in a free society. America was built on the freedom to question our government and we must ensure that we don’t let that principle slide. Dissent to disagree and your right to speak out, to protest and challenge authority without fear of censorship or government reprisals is essential to our liberty.”

He thanked the crowd of students and young conservatives: “…Because of the young American patriots like yourselves, the Communist attack on the United States disguised as woke tolerance has failed… The plan was again to divide us… so that chaos would be so overwhelming that we’d trade something we cherish for calm and order. That something we were asked to trade for was of course, our freedom.”

He went on to credit President Donald Trump for pushing back against foreign land ownership: “Thanks to the Trump administration, American farmland is no longer for sale. Thanks to President Trump’s administration, Communist China can no longer own farm land in the US. Now do Bill Gates next.”
 

Gates is confirmed to be the largest private farmland owner in the US, owning an estimated 275,000 acres across multiple states. A 2025 Land Report ranks him as the top farmland owner with around 275,000 acres, of which 248,000 acres is active farmland spanning at least 17 states.

Continuing on this vein, Schneider warned about the stakes of the last election, “I don’t know if we realize how close we came to losing everything our founding fathers fought and died for. Another 4 years of open borders and another 10 million people coming across our borders would’ve been enough to turn the US into a blue, California-style crap hole with every city flooding with homelessness, drug addicts, and illegal migrants from all corners of the world.”
 

“As long as we are a nation under God, we will always be free,” Schneider said. “Our unparalleled freedom is why the United States is the creative, technological and financial engine of the world. Well, my fellow Americans, how can we continue to move this counter revolution forward? Luckily the Democratic Party has provided a map for us. If we just do the exact opposite of what the Democratic Party did, we will be free for another 1000 years.”
