Prince Harry has been observed as “psychologically stuck” by a psychiatrist after his bombshell interview last week.

The Duke of Sussex spoke out after suffering a bruising legal defeat at the UK Court of Appeals regarding his security detail.

Psychiatrist Dr Raj Persaud watched the footage and came to troubling conclusions about Harry’s mental wellbeing.

In the interview, the Duke claimed his father, King Charles, “won’t speak to me because of this security stuff” and that he did “not know how much longer my father has” – in reference to Charles’ ongoing cancer treatment.

“This was quite possibly a bid to garner attention on the public stage in a manner they simply cannot ignore, quite possibly a form of emotional blackmail,” Dr Persaud told The Express.

He observed that Harry may be “psychologically stuck” in the moral paradigm he had built around himself and his legal quest.

Dr Persauddeduced that the royal had become so “convinced of the logic and morality of his position that he couldn’t seem to grasp that, even if he is right, he is still not getting what he wants”.

The medic claimed that “throwing fresh grenades” after the legal blow was a “hasty, ill-though-out tactic” from Harry and would do little to mend his rift with the palace.

During the interview, Prince Harry admitted he was seeking to rebuild his relationship with the Royal Family.

“I would love reconciliation with my family there’s no point in continuing to fight anymore, as I said life is precious,” the 40-year-old said.

The psychiatrist suggested Harry needs “help” in rebuilding his relationship with the Royal Family.

Prince Harry also revealed he had “forgiven” his family members.

Regarding advice for the Duke going forward, Dr Persaud suggested the Harry appeared be “in difficulty” and added he “needs help to move on and really start a process of rapprochement with his family”.

However, the psychiatrist feared this would not happen through the current “prism of another angry media interview showing his apparently trapped mindset”.

In a similar vein, psychotherapist and relationship coach Lucy Beresford suggested an “element of him not wanting to be forgotten” in Harry’s words.

It’s more about trying to remind people he still exists. It’s like he is saying ‘don’t forget me,’” she told The Mirror.

The expert also claimed that Harry’s preoccupation with his family’s security arrangements was a symptom of his “inner child” taking over his adult brain.

She speculated that the Duke of Sussex, still haunted by his mother Princess Diana’s death, was in fear that “history will repeat itself”.
