Prince Andrew is ‘the unsolvable problem’ as William ‘will not be seen’ near his uncle

Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths has described Prince Andrew as “an unsolvable problem” for the royal family, noting that Prince William “won’t be seen anywhere near his uncle”.
Speaking to GB News, Griffiths discussed the ongoing challenges posed by the Duke of York, whose “issues resurface with alarming regularity”.
Her comments come in the wake of Virginia Giuffre’s tragic suicide aged 41. Giuffre had previously accused Andrew of sexual assault when she was a minor.
The Royal Family now faces fresh scrutiny following this development, with reports of an emergency meeting between King Charles and Prince William.
“It’s a problem that simply won’t go away. Yet another chapter has unfolded, sadly, with the news that Virginia Giuffre has died by suicide.
“Given that Andrew wasn’t even allowed to attend the Sandringham Christmas service, I found it very surprising that he thought he could show up at Easter.
“What happens is that, every now and then, Andrew gets it into his head that he can find a way back, even though the signals are very, very clear that he can’t.
“In 2021, he even planned a return. That was only about a year after the Newsnight interview. So, really, the fullness of time hasn’t taught him anything about his exile.”
Following the news of Giuffre’s death, an emergency meeting was called at Buckingham Palace on Friday, April 26.
The gathering included King Charles, Prince William, top advisors, lawyers and PR chiefs who scrambled “behind closed doors” to discuss the next steps.
According to a source who spoke to OK! Magazine, Prince Andrew was “pointedly excluded” from these discussions.
“They didn’t want Andrew anywhere near it,” the insider revealed. “He’s seen as toxic. They know involving him would make everything worse.”

The Duke of York was stripped of his royal titles and patronages after his connections to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein came to light.
The emergency meeting reportedly revealed a divide between the King and his heir on how to respond to Giuffre’s death.
“William thinks they need to show humanity,” a Palace source disclosed. “Charles just wants it to disappear.”
