Pope, State Department Condemn Latest Massacre Of Christians By Islamist Militants in Nigeria

Pope Leo XIV condemned the killing of approximately 200 people in Nigeria’s Benue state, where Islamist militants attacked a mostly Christian village, burning homes and killing residents.  The US State Department also condemned the attack, stating that it strongly condemns the increasing attacks on Christian farming villages in Nigeria.

The attacks are part of a larger pattern of violence against Christians in Nigeria, which is considered one of the most dangerous places in the world to be a Christian, with 69% of Christian killings worldwide in 2025 occurring in Nigeria.

The Idaho sniper, Wess Roley, the Arizona killer, Adam Christopher Sheafe, and socialist Zohran Mamdani are examples of people who have committed or expressed extreme actions in the US, contributing to a perceived increase in “crazy” people in society.

New Zealand Law Changes Enabling National ID By Stealth

Bonnie Flaws has done a four-part investigation into what Stats NZ is planning behind closed doors. Statistics New Zealand (“Stats NZ”) is New Zealand’s official data agency, responsible for collecting and providing statistical information about the country’s economy, population, and society.

In a previous article, Bonnie Flaws explained that Stats New Zealand is creating a Persistent Unique Identifier (“PUI”) for each citizen to track them over time in an Integrated Statistical Data System – or ‘Statistical Register’.  The new system will link business, location and population registers, giving a nearly complete picture of a person’s life over time. Data in this register will be updated in real time as it becomes available, moving away from data “snapshots” that only show a moment in time.

In this article (hyperlink contained in the subheading), Bonnie Flaws highlights that the New Zealand government is creating an Integrated Statistical Data System (“ISDS”) that links population, business, and location data, which could be used as a National ID by stealth.

The Data and Statistics Act 2022 and the Privacy Act 2020 have been used to enable the increased use of administrative data, allowing for the creation of a PUI that can track people in real-time, Bonnie Flaws said.

Efforts to Ban Top European Nation’s Populist Opposition Are Forging Ahead

The Social Democratic Party (SPD) in Germany has initiated a push to ban the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, citing their alleged extremism and violation of democratic principles.

The SPD unanimously voted to form a working group to gather evidence against the AfD, which they accuse of undermining the constitution and advocating for “remigration.” With the AfD gaining significant support, particularly in eastern Germany, the SPD faces criticism for attempting to eliminate a political rival instead of engaging in democratic competition.

The AfD was recently classified as an extremist group by Germany’s intelligence agency, leading to increased surveillance, though this classification is currently under legal challenge. Critics, including Elon Musk and newly elected Chancellor Friedrich Merz, have condemned the ban proposal, asserting that it undermines democratic principles and overlooks the concerns of the AfD’s voter base.

Dutch outlet De Andere Krant reported on Friday that van Kessel is being kept in prison for longer and will not present at a lawsuit against Bill Gates and Mark Rutte.  “The Public Prosecution Service will continue to regard him as a ‘suspect in an investigation into a criminal network’, for the time being, without providing any evidence.”

“This means that the Leeuwarden lawyer will certainly not be at the public hearing on 9 July in the Leeuwarden District Court, where the first substantive hearing of the internationally controversial lawsuit against, among others, the State of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte and Bill Gates is scheduled,” De Andere Krant said.

“Many suspect that lawyer Van Kessel has come too close to the truth in the corona file. The case thus evokes associations with the prosecution of the German lawyer Reiner Fuellmich.”

HHS Takes Bold Step to Restore Public Trust in Vaccines by Reconstituting ACIP

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the US health secretary, has removed all 17 members of the Advisory Committee on Immunisation Practices (“ACIP”), which advises the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) on vaccine recommendations.

Mr. Kennedy stated that the move was aimed at restoring public trust in vaccines, citing concerns over conflicts of interest within the panel.  He argued that the committee had become a “rubber stamp” for vaccines and that its members had received substantial funding from pharmaceutical companies.

Wind Turbine Blade Crashes Into Maryland Traffic on Interstate 70

A wind turbine blade broke loose from a truck on Interstate 70 in Maryland’s Washington County, crashing into traffic and injuring one person. The person injured was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred early Monday morning and resulted in the closure of multiple lanes in both directions, with all lanes reopening by 8:28 am.
