Never-Trumper George Conway was spotted at a “No Kings” rally in the nation’s capital on Saturday donning a shirt that stated, “I am Antifa.” The left-wing radical organization has been designated as a domestic terrorist organization by President Donald Trump.

Conway, who is the founder of the anti-Trump Lincoln Project, was seen attending the Washington, DC, “No Kings” rally wearing the shirt, first reported by the Daily Caller News Foundation’s Hudson Crozier.

Thousands were seen marching in Washington, DC, as the rally took place, with signs and other slogans taking aim at Trump as well as his policies. Conway has been a longtime critic of Trump and began when he was married to Kellyanne Conway, who was serving as an advisor to the president during his first administration.

After Trump designated Antifa a terrorist organization this fall, Conway made a number of posts that made light of the extremist group whose members have been responsible for a number of violent political attacks in Portland, Oregon, as well as in other cities around the country.

Although the “Not Kings” rally organizers have said that the protest is peaceful, Antifa has called on members to infiltrate the various protests to “show them what antifascism really looks like.”

Others also signaled allegiance to Antifa at the “No Kings” rallies, with one person carrying an Antifa flag in Toronto, Canada, outside the US.

Earlier this week, the Department of Justice brought an indictment against two Antifa militants related to the July 4 shooting attack in Alvarado, Texas, where one police officer was shot in the neck.
