Federal Aviation Administration employee from New Hampshire has been charged with making threats to kill President Donald Trump

According to a press release from the Department of Justice, Dean DelleChiaie, 35, allegedly conducted searches on how to get a gun into a federal facility, other assassination attempts, and on April 21, 2026, used his personal email to send a message to the White House that read, “I, Dean DelleChiaie, am going neutralize/kill you – Donald John Trump – because you decided to kill kids – and say that it was War – when in reality – it is terrorism. God knows your actions and where you belong.”

The online searches from DelleChiaie allegedly took place in late January, and one of the things that he looked up was the phrase, “I am going to kill Donald John Trump.”

If he is convicted DelleChiaie faced up to five years in prison as well as a fine of $250,000.

“According to the complaint, the United States Secret Service interviewed DelleChiaie in early February where he admitted to conducting those searches on his work computer and to owning three firearms, including a handgun he kept inside a safe at his home,” the DOJ said in its press release for the case.

DelleChiaie’s arrest takes place just days after another assassination attempt on President Trump took place while he was at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

While Trump was attending with First Lady Melania Trump, suspect Cole Allen was seen on video charging through a security checkpoint with a rifle. Secret Service agents were able to detain him and prevent any attack from taking place. One agent was shot in the chest, but had a bullet proof vest on and was unharmed.

Agents shot at Allen multiple times before he landed on the ground and was then arrested.

Other assassination attemps on the president include when he was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania during a campaign rally by Thomas Matthw Crooks. At the time, the bullet grazed Trump’s ear as he turned his head just at the right moment, or he would have been shot in the head. Crooks was killed at the scene by Secret Service snipers.

In another instance, would-be assassin Ryan Routh attmpeted to kill the president while he was out on his golf course in Florida. Routh was able to escape with his life during the assassination attempt, but will spend the rest of it in prison.
