After Minnesota Governor Tim Walz said that he believes he can “kick most [Trump supporters’] a**” in a fight, WWE legend Kane has challenged the Democratic politician to just that.

Kane, whose real name is Glenn Jacobs, is now a mayor in Knox County, Tennessee. The 7-foot-tall athlete who weighed in at 300 pounds during the prime of his career, according to Fox News, challenged Walz to a charity wrestling match on Thursday.

Jacobs wrote on X in light of Walz’s comments, “All joking aside, Tim Walz, let’s put our money where our mouth is…in a charity wrestling match. We’ll split the gate 50/50 between our chosen organizations. I’ll kick things off myself with a $10,000 donation. What do you say?”

Walz made the comments on California Governor Gavin Newsom’s podcast. Walz at the time said that he thought Trump supporters were “scared” of him. “I think I could kick most of their a**. I know I can outrun them. I don’t know if we’re going to fall into that place where we, okay, we challenge you to, you know, a WWE fight here, type of thing,” Walz told Newsom.

Human Events Host Jack Posobiec said he would donate $10,000 to see the match go through.

Founder of Outkick Clay Travis also offered to contribute a $10,000 donation to the charity match between Jacobs and Walz.

The comments from the Minnesota governor, who also ran on the Democratic ticket for Vice President alongside Kamala Harris, have been ripped up and down by Republicans, including President Donald Trump.

When asked about Walz’s comments about kicking the “a**” of Trump supporters in the Oval Office, Trump responded, “Oh boy, he’d be in trouble.”

“Well, he’s a loser. You know, I mean, the guy’s a loser. He lost an election, he played a part-, you know, usually a vice president doesn’t play a part, they say. I think Tim played a part. I think it was so bad that he hurt [Harris].”

Florida Governor Ron Desantis posted on X about the hypothetical match between Jacobs and Walz, and wrote, “Florida can serve as the neutral site host. We’ve got a lot of great spots and a lot of wrestling fans.”
