Dr. Miriam Grossman has been a child psychiatrist for decades. She is a senior fellow at Do No Harm Medicine and a psychiatric consultant for the American College of Pediatricians. Along the way, she gives a clear and compassionate picture inside the heads of the parents who consent to allow their children to be mutilated, but most importantly, a look inside the heads of the kids themselves.

For the past decade, our children have been the targets of a concerted campaign by the trans movement. Kids are told that if they only transition, they will feel that they fit in, and their parents are told that their kids will kill themselves if they are not allowed to.

But both of these claims are outright lies.

Fortunately, better informed people are now pushing back, and perhaps no organization has done so as effectively as Gays Against Groomers, an American anti-trans agenda movement launched in 2022 by founder Jaimee Michell.

So far Gays Against Groomers has succeeded in having anti-trans legislation passed in no less than 22 states. Their website contains a wealth of truth about the trans agenda, from news, to scientific studies, and now two books, one of them, titled “Born Perfect: Jack’s Story” was just released and is the first in a planned series of children’s books written to push back against the trans agenda books which have infiltrated our school libraries.

Jaimee began her campaign years ago, when she became dismayed at the fact that the trans movement was effectively hijacking the pride movement to the extent that many gays today no longer use the pride flag as a symbol. It used to be symbol of equal rights for consenting adults. It has become, under the agenda of the trans movement, a symbol of the victimization of our children.

Today’s trans agenda has convinced tens of thousands of people that they are not the gender they were born as, and if they only transition, they will finally feel that they belong. That they fit in. And we hear constantly from the pro trans movement that children who are not allowed to transition are at increased risk of suicide. A false narrative that is not born up by the actual statistics, which in fact indicate that the opposite is true.

Then there are those who come to regret their decision and de-transition. We seldom hear from them because their stories are not covered by mainstream media, and, as incredible as it sounds, those who de-transition are often accused of being trans phobic and are silenced by those who once considered them as allies.

Kellie-Lynn Pirie and Faith Groleau are two such women. They transitioned to a male identity, took hormones, underwent surgery, and lived for a time as men. But both of them later came to regret that decision, and to finally become comfortable with who and what they really are. Women. And both are dealing with the lasting effects of having transitioned. Even now, after detransitioning both of them have deep voices and appear in some ways to be masculine. But at heart, they are undeniably women.

So what happened? Why did these courageous women who are now telling their stories choose to follow the trans agenda?

Their answers are, at once, different, and the same. But it comes down to the fact that in today’s world, transitioning has taken the place of real therapy. People who feel out of place are given a constant narrative by health care and mental health professionals that transitioning will fix all of their problems.

But that narrative couldn’t be further from the truth.
