ANDY NGO REPORTS: Portland anti-ICE activist who threatened pro-Trump child, Las Vegas conservative council member, accused of $1 MILLION theft, Tesla arson attack
Portland anti-ICE activist accused of threatening a pro-Trump child and sending death threats online is now charged with trying to torch a Tesla facility using a flamethrower.Authorities say he also stole nearly $1 million from a former employer.
A Portland far-left extremist accused of making violent threats against a Nevada elected official, a child and President Donald Trump is now facing a cascade of federal and state charges after authorities say he also attempted to torch a Tesla facility with a flamethrower and stole nearly $1 million from a former employer.
Travis William Juhr, 41, was indicted last week by a federal grand jury in Portland on charges of transmitting interstate threats to injure. Prosecutors say the threats targeted conservative Clark County Commissioner April Becker of Nevada, as well as a 13-year-old conservative boy who attended a pro-Immigration and Customs Enforcement counterprotest in Portland.
Juhr was a regular attendee at leftist demonstrations and riots outside the Portland ICE facility. He was often seen wearing a bomber-style jacket and was recorded on livestreams making threats to Trump supporters.
According to federal court documents, Juhr left a threatening voicemail and posted messages online directed at the Nevada official alongside a photograph.
“I’m coming down to Nevada for you Becker,” Juhr allegedly posted on X. “I hope you have your doors and windows locked. Because I love a challenge when hunting my PREY. #MAGAHuntersPDX.”
Investigators say Juhr also used multiple social media accounts to threaten a child who had attended a “Patriots Night” counterprotest supporting ICE agents outside the ICE facility in Portland in November 2025.
Authorities say Juhr identified the boy after a photo of the child circulated online and began posting threats against him.
In one message, Juhr allegedly wrote that he was “Excited for the Obituaries.”
According to the complaint, Juhr also made threats against President Donald Trump.
Federal investigators also alleged Juhr posted a photo of a Sig Sauer rifle on social media under another alias. The weapon displayed stickers reading “I Choose Violence” along with a green frog image.

The frog symbol has been adopted by leftists in Portland to show opposition to borders and immigration officials after a man named Seth Todd began wearing a frog costume to riots. Todd himself has urged terrorist attacks on the U.S. government and has an open federal criminal case.

Juhr made his first appearance in federal court on March 13, where he pleaded not guilty to two counts of transmitting interstate threats. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison on each count.
While the federal threats case was unfolding, Juhr was also arrested on a separate series of state charges in Oregon.
Multnomah County prosecutors accuse Juhr of attempting to set fire to a Tesla store in South Portland between Jan. 30 and Feb. 2 using a handheld flamethrower.
Juhr was arraigned on March 16 in Multnomah County Circuit Court on multiple counts each of arson, a felony, reckless burning and criminal mischief.
Juhr also faces burglary charges in neighboring Washington County, Ore. Prosecutors allege he used electronic key cards to steal nearly $1 million from his former employer, NW Natural.
During Monday’s state hearing, state defense attorney Zachary E. Pedrazzi argued that Juhr had previously been released in the federal case and had not been considered a flight risk.

Pedrazzi noted the alleged state crimes occurred before Juhr was released from federal custody on Feb. 18.
But Judge Adrian Brown ruled that the seriousness of the new allegations increased the risk Juhr might not return to court. He ordered him held on $150,000 bail.
According to Juhr’s LinkedIn profile, he worked as an IT systems architect for the State of Oregon and for the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission in 2024. He also lists past employment as an Emergency Medical Technician for American Medical Response. A staffer with AMR is suspected to have been behind the leak of a Border Patrol shooting incident on accused Tren de Aragua members to a far-left open borders group.
